We have been raising and showing Quarter Horses for over 35 years. Doug is an accomplished horseman having trained and shown horses earning some of the most prestigious titles in the world as well as coaching and mentoring riders thru barrel racing and pole bending clinics to help them to achieve their goals. His talents in keeping speed event horses calm and happy in their jobs have been highlighted in equine publications such as the Quarter Horse Journal and Horse Illustrated. He has exhibited horses in AQHA Roping classes and is most recently known for his accomplishments in Pole Bending and Barrel Racing. He has trained and shown horses that have won the IBHA World Championship in Pole Bending, AQHYA Reserve World Champion, AQHA High Point Title earners, as well as All American Quarter Horse Congress Champion Junior Pole Bending. He was Captain and member of AQHA’s Team Wrangler for multiple years being one of the top speed event exhibitors in the country. Leslie is also an experienced horsewoman who has shown horses in multiple disciplines including AQHA Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Ranch Riding, Western Dressage, Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. We are standing a stallion named Just Got Smashed. He is bay roan son of Martha's Frenchman. We both enjoy raising the foals and starting them off on a path to success.
